Production design is an insane scavenger hunt to find the most exotic, banal or the unexpected on a moment's notice. We once had three hours to find a tarantula, a Faberge egg and a Walther P99 handgun for a 007 key art shoot. Luckily, other times we have a week to build a copy of the Taj Mahal or a submerged 1960’s Mad Men office. Good production design is often achieved by supporting an idea invisibly, rather than stealing the show. The work we do can be understood as a wine glass that simply holds your wine, communicating the idea contained within.
